Overview
The Corn is an obtainable, multi-harvest, rare [[Crops|crop]] that was added to the release of the game.
Appearance
Corn is a distinct, medium-to-tall crop characterized by its sturdy, bright green stalk. As it grows, elongated, blade-like green leaves sprout outward from the main stem, arching slightly downward.
Upon reaching maturity, several ears of corn develop along the central stalk. Each ear is wrapped tightly in layered, pale green husks, with noticeable golden-yellow silk tassels bursting from the top. When fully ripe, the husks partially peel back, revealing plump rows of vibrant, golden-yellow kernels tightly packed together.
When affected by weather events or random mutations (such as Gold or Blood Moon mutations), the entire plant takes on a metallic sheen or shifting color gradients corresponding to the specific mutation type, making the ears glow noticeably in the dark.
Obtainment
The Corn can be obtained from the Seed Shop for or with a 35% (7/20) chance of restocking.
Trivia
- There is a chance for a Corn produce to be either purple or white.
